Models and Battery Current Ratings

The SCCM-II series includes the following models: SCCM3024-II, SCCM4524-II, SCCM4548-II, SCCM6048-II, SCCM8048-II, SCCM10048-II, and SCCM12048-II. These models support a range of maximum battery currents: SCCM3024-II supports 30 Amps, SCCM4524-II and SCCM4548-II both support 45 Amps, SCCM6048-II supports 60 Amps, SCCM8048-II supports 80 Amps, SCCM10048-II supports 100 Amps, and SCCM12048-II supports up to 120 Amps.

System and Solar Input Specifications

All models feature automatic system voltage detection. The SCCM3024-II supports 12V and 24V DC systems, while all other models support 12V, 24V, and 48V DC systems. The maximum solar input voltage varies by model, starting at 95V for SCCM3024-II and increasing to 145V, 195V, and up to 170V for higher-capacity models. The PV start-up voltage is 15V across the board. The MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) voltage range varies depending on the system voltage and model, ranging from 12VDC/24VDC to 15-170VDC.

Input Power Ratings

Maximum input power varies per system voltage and model. At 12V, input power ranges from 420W (SCCM3024-II) to 1650W (SCCM12048-II). For 24V systems, the range is from 830W to 3300W. 48V system input power is available from the SCCM4548-II model upward, ranging from 2500W to 6600W.

Protection and Charging Features

These controllers offer transient surge protection up to 4500 Watts per port. Comprehensive protection features include solar high voltage disconnect and reconnect, battery high voltage disconnect and reconnect, and high-temperature disconnect and reconnect. The charging algorithm follows a 3-step process: Bulk, Absorption, and Float. Temperature compensation is set at -5 mV/°C/cell with a reference of 25°C, and it supports a compensation range from 0°C to +50°C.

Mechanical and Environmental Specifications

Product dimensions and weight vary with model size. Dimensions range from 190x151x74 mm (SCCM3024-II) up to 333x215x120 mm for larger models. Corresponding weights range from 1.2 kg to 7.0 kg. The ambient operating temperature is 0°C to +55°C, with a storage range of -40°C to +75°C. Humidity tolerance is 0% to 90% RH without condensation. The enclosure rating is IP31, suitable for indoor and vented installations.
